How long doing CF and Why:
I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2015 and coaching since 2016. I got into it because I saw the Games on TV one day and thought it looked more fun than the gym bro stuff I was doing. I went to the closest gym that day, signed up for a full year, and never looked back. I love how well rounded the methodology is, the constant room for improvement and new ways to challenge yourself and grow. But more than anything I just fell in love with the community. CrossFit benefits not only my physical but also my mental and emotional well-being more than anything else I’ve found.
Favorite part about coaching:
I’ve been fortunate enough to have been surrounded by wonderful coaches my entire time in CrossFit and I just want to be able help people in the same way. I love being able to pass on the knowledge that’s been given to me and see athletes grow and progress in their own journeys.
Life outside gym:
Spending time with my wife Rachel and our 2 pups. I love hiking, playing golf or disc golf, or just relaxing at home reading or watching soccer and F1.
