How long have you been doing CrossFit and why?
I have been doing CrossFit for around 5 years. I was severely overweight in high school and college and my family has a propensity for diabetes & heart issues. I wanted to get involved in something that would keep me healthy, feed my competitive side, and provide accountability to me. CrossFit checked all of those boxes and I have enjoyed it!
What is your favorite part about coaching?
I enjoy watching people push past their mental expectations and reaching something physically that their mind kept telling them was impossible! Seeing people push through that “pain cave” to do another rep or seeing the movement pattern click with them on something they may not have been able to do before is rewarding as a coach.

Life outside of the gym:
I work full time as a local police officer with my K9 partner and we spend a lot of time out on patrol or in training! Other than my full time job I spend my off days hiking or biking with friends, spending time with my family, or working on projects around my house!
